    Mantras [1]

TYPES OF MANTRAS & HOW IT SHOULD BE RECITED

    1. Naam mantras

    2. Beej mantras

    3. Mool mantras

    4. Shlokas

    5. Vedic Mantra

    .

All mantras work the same way as far as you believe in the mantra and regularly recite it.

    .

e.g Purans state that Om namah shivaye or Om namo bhagwate vashudevaye mantra contains the whole vedas inside it.

    .

We normally try to provide Naam mantras, beej mantra or mool mantras with Puja vidhi.

    .

The reason is that one have to be quite purified to recite veda mantra or it becomes a "Dosha" to recite such mantras.

    .

Mantra have special vibrations and one MUST recite it with that required flow. (not too fast) or it will not work well.

    .

Secondly, As I always say intake of any tamas food or tamas vaani reduces the effectiveness of the mantras because you don't have the same divineness to uplift the " mantra shakti "

    .

Rishi munis were living a very divine lifestyle to recite the vedic mantra.
